RYAN BYERS

I met Ryan when I moved to my new house, I think I was 8. I didn’t know anyone so I went down to the woods at the park to climb trees or whatever when I ran into this gnarly group of kids building bike jumps. I was all nervous and stuff about being new, so I started joking around and that was it. I met all the dudes, ended up getting in on their soccer league and started skating with them all the time. I am still super good friends with Ryan and all everyone from the neighborhood, everybody is into their own stuff which is great, but we still get together for a bonfire or a skate jam once in a while. Sometimes I feel like I missing out because I am always shooting photos of all my friends the way I see them. I am hyped that Ryan shoots because it gives me a chance to see our group from a different angle.

SHAWN BUSH

Shawn has been doing awesome work for so long now it's crazy. He started out with this site called BUSHWACKED SKATE MAFIA, full of skate videos, montages and stuff of the local rippers of livonia. I remember we had photo together in high school and he started taking these really nice skateboarding images, and it was sick to see this kid who killed it at filming and editing, just move over to another medium like it was no big deal. The years went on and shawn kept producing these flawless shots, one after another, non stop. Although his work with skating is the bomb , I am really drawn to his other work as well, which is what I am posting.
